Throughout history, the Museum of the Franciscan Monastery has often and in different ways perished, but the Kreševo friars have managed to collect rare, valuable and interesting exhibits that give a fairly clear picture of the lives of people in this region over the past centuries. The largest number of exhibits relates to traditional occupations - exploitation of ores and their processing. From the field of mining we can see specimens of the ores and minerals of our region, as well as the tools with which the ore was mined and processed.

The collection of mining lamps is especially evident, as well as numerous copies of tools, some of which date back to ancient times. The museum setting on forging shows the complete blacksmith's workshop ("duganja"); there are bellows, lafles, anvils and hammers of various dimensions, and various copies of tools. This setting also contains art blacksmith products. The tools and products of carpentry, shoemaker, tailoring, looming and enchanting crafts are also on display, as well as a collection of handicrafts.

The museum also contains an extremely valuable collection of minerals and crystals from the Kreševo area, an archaeological collection from prehistoric and ancient times, and a numismatic collection.

Library

The library was completely burned down in 1765, but was rebuilt over time. In its collection there is also library catalogue preserved from 1835 ("Cataloque librorom Bibliothecae Sanctae Catharinae... de Kreshevo... 1835") which then lists 2008 Volumes.

Among other things, the library contains numerous outages of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts.

De re metallica

In the 17th century, Kreševo Franciscans brought a book on Mining, geology and metallurgy De re metallica (About Metals), by Georgius Agricolae, which was printed in 1657 in Italy. The book served some museums in the world to reconstruct scenes of medieval mining, and evoke the appearance, clothing and tools of the miners of the time.
